Hacking Wii Virtual Console Cracked?

I just got done with my usual browsing of a torrent site I visit often and noticed that there is a new torrent for F-Zero for the virtual console on the Wii. =/ I'm not sure if this is real or not as I can't test it, but here's what the description says:

tab and you will find the saved channel present. Copy it to your Wii
and you will be done. Enjoy testing out your game for free!

It may or may not be real, but it won't work due to encryption.

I'm pretty sure that this works if you've already purchased F-Zero.

Your console keeps track of all the VC games you have downloaded from the store. That's how it'll let you redownload a game if you delete it.

For example you should be able to copy the F-Zero channel onto your console if you bought the game already.

At least that's what I read from an interview

Correct is you!!

As long as you downloaded the game. Even if its from your Friends wii you can put it on yours. because On the firmware its writen that you own the licence to play that game. So Even if the game is leak and cracked. You need to tinker the firmware for it to work anyway

Yeah, you guys are right about how its supposed to be locked for specific consoles, but some people over at maxcon**** are reporting that this works. I'm guessing that its either a firmware issue, or it only works if you have bought F-Zero before.

Of course, those people could be lying as well.

This was already possible to play nes,snes games with snes9x emulator on wii, using the action replay gamecube disc. But still it will be better if you just can use sd card and copy some games on it. Using the firmware update.
I would go for an external hdd connecte to the usb port from the wii and then play the videos/roms from your hdd.

I thought that some part of the encryption was based on your Wii´s internal serial number, so copying a VC game from somebody else Wii without cracking the encryption would not let it run, even if you already have bought that VC.

yeah, my system was updated 10 minutes after being opened.

...I tested re-downloading games, and it works fine. I have 2 copies of Sonic's content.bin, and they're actually a bit different. I guess it encrypts each "version" that you download differently.

They could include the date you bought the game, the date you downloaded the game last, the time you bought the game and the time you downloaded the game in their encryption...
Just to make it harder to crack.

this hack only works on wiis that have not been updated,i know as iv have tried it but once i went online to update it stoped working.

Or it discovered that your file was not supposed to run on your Wii when it went online and asked Nintendos server if you are supposed to have that game.

it not that easy crack wii firmware...
probably to best to crack the VC game file and somehow changing the code...
