Now I'm new but I've been following this feed for months and I must say your frequent negative attitude with the others is unnecessary, rude, and quite inappropriate . There is no need for an egotist who lashes at other members an especially one who are affiliated in the creation of this project

AceOfQueens has some kind of axe to grind. He's probably upset because he doesn't have the chops to actually help with the project and most of his terrible ideas have been shot down.
As much as i've loved GBAtemp over the years, this thread has 100% proved that this topic would be far better off on Neogaf where this form of bickering wouldn't occur, and where being passionate about something actually counts. MagiusNecros NSRSM could provide the updates if no-one else has an account....at least that way we get no backchat.

I like a lot of people can't wait to see this translation completed and as it has so many eyes on it and high expectations I am going to speak with the other staff about the possibility of the translation team members having their own forum here on the board for you to work in, if you so wish.
It would be like any other forum but only visible to the members of the team.
That way you can keep this thread for updating the public and for public discussion, but keep everything else private.
I don't want you guys to move to gaf or anywhere else just because a few bad eggs make some stupid posts now and then.

If a special sub forum actually becomes a reality can i please request "special" access? Why? Because a) i've been here from the start and as far as i'm aware have not been an irritant (read as "i'm an actual adult) and b) i'm pretty much always on hand and happy to lend any form of assistance (hopefully demonstrated by the small FAQ in this topic)....

Sure. Let's make a topic about a pirated ROM patch on a forum where industry leaders are known to lurk around on, and where a large, large chunk of the community hates Final Fantasy to death. That will really quell the bickering!
I'm gonna take a wild, WILD guess here and say...none of you have actually had any experience on Ngaf outside of the occasional Final Fantasy-related post or two hotlinked on FXN...

Aside from that if you really believe what you've stated in your first couple of sentences i'd guess you're really not that familiar with NeoGAF at all. The suggestion was made because in all honesty it's just a generally more adult forum where there are actual repercussions for spouting spurious nonsense..do you think that this sort of backchat has occurred in the Danganronpa OT and translation discussion on NeoGAF? Or any of the other custom firmware, emulation or patching topics?
Besides this is a non-issue...an OT will get made over there at some point, and potentially a sub-forum with appropriate usergroup permissions will be made here. Either option negates further squabbling.
I will discuss it with all the team members. And go from there.

Everyone can join the GILGAMESH club. It will warm my inner fandom but likely doesn't open any barriers to entry. Just makes me glad to have a fellow fan. I am thankful that many have interest in this project, perhaps as much as I do. Really fantastic game and best FF of the decade but it isn't any surprise. XIII series was overhyped and the devs lost focus and look what you got, while others desperately cling to Versus now FFXV and let's be honest I hope it's good and great and awesome as well. Square isn't doing too good and the way I see it, they very well might take a heavy hit next gen if they aren't feeling it already. But there is a lot I could go into and I would rather not be a killjoy and give an essay on the "This is why Square Enix sucks" as that is a whole different battlefield.
As for Ace he reminds me of an entity that has gone through many different alias yet emulated the same entity nonetheless. Those being names such as UpDownSmack, PrecisionCrab, DoctorCrabMD, some kind of name similar to Slap2Snookie or something like that, something relating to shrimp, the list goes on.
All having the same mocking behavior that things should be done a certain way, that things are a waste of time, belittling others who try to apply effort and that even their best effort is never good enough, overuse of italics to make a sardonic or unfunny quip, a snide subpar insult which degenerates into cruder insults when witty retorts no longer work in this person's favor, suggestions that come off as demands, gloats about how medical school is tougher then translation, among further gloating of working on some obscure book into another language but being too good to help out on other projects even going so far as to spite select few so they can't "enjoy said project, book or game" to the full extent.
And it goes on and on and on. So it's nothing new. Pretty used to it. Just a troll and a colossal waste of time. But it's not my style to ignore anyone. So yeah. Go me. GILGAMESH FAN KING dude.
