if you take into account shipping costs from oversea vendors, realhotstuff.com is the way to go. they ship from the U.S and provide usps tracking.

well, let's compare. My total for a Passcard 3 and the G6 Lite (granted, Chinese version, but I don't want to wait for the English version if I am only playing games with it anyway) and the shipping AND the extra 4% charged to me for using Paypal at PSXBox came to 111.80. just the G6 and the Passcard at this place is 115.99 even before shipping. I am not shitting on realhotstuff, and it looks like they will make a good alternitive, but they are still on the expensive side.

It came out to 93.80 for me, paypal surcharge included, which is almost 10 dollars less than what winsunx wanted for the Chinese version and shipping. Shipping was something like 5 dollars (I'm in Southern California). Not so bad. I preordered, thanks for the heads up.

I paid 117.40$ for the G6 Lite (English Retail Version) + PassCard 3 + Shipping (takes 3 days to my country) from Divineo.cn, so that in my opinion is a very good deal, but some still think the price is too high for the English Retail Version, dunno why.

Still, maybe it is the old man in me (eewww) but 65.50 sounds like less of a rip off than 87.99 (talking about just the G6 Lite now). Also the fact that they cross out the 92.99 on the site to make it look like they are floating a great deal. What they should be doing is hyping the insanely low shipping cost. Less than 7 dollars is pretty impressive. Also, their Passcard 3 is 28 bucks as opposed to the 21.50 I paid. The killer is the EMS/DHL/FedEx Express shipping at 20.50 for international shipping.

If you are in domestic US, realhotstuff.com is definitely the best place to buy. The shipping is among the lowest and delivery is un-believably fast. Not to mention customer services. There is no comparison from other stores in this category. I have not seen any other stores provide toll free number and most of the time, you can get someone to answer.

I guess I would have to concede on this point to a certain extent. I guess it is a lot like buying insurance or replacement guarantees. You are never really sure when you need to use it so the ability to actually call them from the states is nice. as for the G6 Lite, shipping time is moot at this point considering the E version will not be available until the first few days of August so even if they can ship it to me in 2 days and the Asian companies can only get it to me in, say, 3 or 4 days, then I still get my card earlier than I would had I pre-ordered it from the states. Still, 22.50 more for the G6 is sorta nutty.

I took the plunge as well, although the coupon code listed actually increased the final total... go figure.

Anyway, while I am very anxious to get my hands on this, I've been patiently waiting for the Black Lites to come around, so I don't mind receiving it in August.

When it comes down to it, realhotstuff is by far the best place to get your DS stuff if you're in the US. They're prices might be a little more than sites based overseas, but you will end up saving money by not having to pay out the butt for shipping. You will get your product quickly and their customer support is great. They're the official sponsor of scdev.org and you really can't go wrong with them.
