Howdy XFlak
Thank you for the new release 4.7.1
Unfortunelly, I have a bug report.
Running XP, when I launch modmii.exe a system error window appears telling it doesn't know what program to execute modmii.lnk.
A workaround for this is to copy modmii.bat to the same folder as modmii.exe.
It's working fine for me, and I've tested it on Windows XP and Windows 7. And I don't really get your error... modmii.lnk is a shortcut... so windows shouldn't be asking what program to execute modmii.lnk... if anything it would be asking what to use to execute modmii.bat (which is what the shortcut is forwarding to). To me it sounds like you might have an issue with file associations for either *.lnk or *.bat files. Can anyone confirm v4.7.1 is working okay on windows XP?

Out of curiosity, what are you using to convert the batch file to .exe?
Up to and including v4.7.0 I was using bat2exe, but that was causing problems with anti-viruses. So now modmii.exe is just a small forwarder to modmii.bat (autoit script {.au3} code available on ModMii's google code page). It allows me to launch ModMii with an icon as well as create shortcuts with the appropriate icon.

If upx was causing the false alarms, why did you keep compressing the modmii.exe using it? - Here's a tip. Some av detects the upx signature in the executable and tags it as virus. Simple solution. Edit the upx0 and upx1 section names to wii0 and wii1 for example.
I'm pretty sure ModMii's not having any AV problems anymore, but if I ever want to look into this further, would I make this change by hex editing the exe?

A sugestion here..
Add a way to add custom wads to the copy_to_sd_\wad folder. For example if a wad file exist in "cwad" folder it will be copied to the copy_to_sd\wad folder. I keep using uloader and I have to manually copy it everytime I mod a wii.
Once again, thank you for the new release.
