Oh also you can go on "ping" it's like Facebook but made by apple

If ping is like Facebook... why not go on Facebook?

QUOTE(luke_c @ Sep 2 2010, 03:45 AM) I really can't see Ping working out too well, I mean how many people here actually buy music in the first place?

Neither do I to be honest.

I'm really starting to dislike apple, they banned flash from iDevices for being unstable even though iTunes is a massive resource hog and often crashes for no reason on my laptop

64x Works quite well not a whole lot of new features that I would even bother to use but it's nice to be up to date

And the new icon looks sexy.

iTunes FTW, it's so awesome it's using my CPU without doing anything.

playing music, downloading a couple apps that need updates and its going through the gapless information for a few new albums.

Eww.
iTunes. Horrible bloated piece of crap.
Or your computer just sucks, my desktop and my netbook have been running iTunes 9 fine for as long as I have had both, and my netbook is only a year old.
That doesn't have anything to do with having a horrible computer.
iTunes is bloated and is a resource-hog. No doubt about that.

Guys... This thread is not to say how much iTunes sucks...

Plus... it's really not that bad on pc. better for mac. but i cannot see what you people keep bitching about. I never had a problem with iTunes on my pc...

So.... please... if you want to complain about iTunes, make a thread. Because this is not the place for that

We're just saying iTunes isn't worth the download and the memory.

Also, even if you already have iTunes, I wouldn't see the need to update to this version. I mean, come on, the only things added were Ping and sort by Artist? That's pretty damn lame if you ask me, especially if you're talking about an entirely new version of the program (9->10).

tl;dr: get a better music player.

Try getting a iPod Touch, sorting all your music out on iTunes so the artists, album art etc are all done, selling your iPod Touch then moving to another music player (for me WMP. (ily wmp))

I rage'd when I saw everything so, disorganized :(

edit; fix'd.

My music library is 178GB. Indexing that shit is no joke.

Nothing in my library it uses 46K.
That's typical. Most modern music applications beside Foobar2000 use a lot of memory.
Here is my Winamp at startup with no music. It uses ~49K of memory.
