Why wouldn't you be able to play football in a football manager game? Unless you mean play as in FIFA 2005. Then the answer is no.

Anyhow, the prequel was great

I REALLY hate those 'manager' games. It's boring and I immediately feel like a fat old bold guy with a large cigar, all sweaty and shit, telling everybody what to do (managing) while he himself can't even can't get up anymore from eating burgers and drinking to much whiskey and bear.
Still sounds like an interesting game?

Hey, english, french, german and italian, but NO spanish??! I love manager games, but...WhyTF didn't they include the spanish language?! Now I have to play it in english, and I get confused with their @#€¬ pounds...
