- games, new RPG has been relesed. Despite of the fact that Dragon Quest - series is not my favorite one, I download it anyway

because the japanese BUY their games?

i've have bought every square enix game that i have liked, and we do buy square games if we didnt i dont realise how games like ffta, ff7, ff X and all go multi platinum despite there being other methods of playing such games without buying them. And your telling me no one owns a flash cart in japan. ha thats a joke seeing as hong kong which is so close to them produce all these carts.

this game is truly awsome, its a shame i wish square enix would make it in english. honestly square enix hasnt provided us with a ONE sole brand new rpg released in english yet. FFTA = strategy/rpg so its not counted and legend of mana was just a rehash of the gameboy game.
i hope dejap pick up translating gba roms as well, apart from just snes. THey we can play these wonder rpgs

The japanese aren't pirating that much - that's really true! This doesn't mean there aren't people who own flashcarts but probably a lot fewer than here. But I still don't think that piracy is the reason for not translating these.

It's true. Piracy in Japan is really low. I wonder if the lack of computing classes in Japanese schools have anything to do with this. In terms of GBA games, you do catch a few websites about ROMs and VBA, though. I also remember reading that Japan is known as one of the countries with the lowest crime rate so there you go

As for Japanese games being cheap, they're no cheaper than they are here. If you look at the exchange rates it might seem like it but once you've actually worked it out, it's different. e.g. This game costs 5980 Yen (exc. tax) which comes to around £30. That's a little more than the average GBA game over here.

Anyway, back to the game... I should have seen this from the screenshot at GBA Nfo but, I'm only trying out the ROM now. Error messages come up at the start of the ROM. "Adventure File 1: Load Failed. Resetting file failed. Cartridge is broken." Those nice artwork pictures distract you from these messages

They should use something more appropriate like those red error messages in the Famicom Minis.

- Edit -

Saying that, it might work on Flash carts though.
