Gaming PSP GO! "Leaked" Before E-3 (REAL)

It didn't take long after news of the PSP Go leaked onto the web for more information to emerge. Sony has been setting up its display booths at E3, and close-up pictures of the PSP Go have already surfaced (view below). There are still many unanswered questions about the device, for which we will have to wait for Sony's E3 press conference on June 3. However, we have managed to gather some juicy information on the official specs of the PSP Go. It will be smaller and lighter than even the PSP 3000. It will also come packed with an impressive 16GB of storage for all those downloaded games and movies.One thing we aren't happy with is the plastic used on the front casing, which appears to be of the same cheap variety used on the recent PSP 2000 and 3000 revisions. The rest of the device does look like a lusty piece of electronics gear, so we will reserve final judgement until the machine ships later this fall.

Wowz... Looks like they are gonna make people download games I think? With all that on-board memory and no UMD drive... What is the point? They shoulda put one in... Who is gonna go buy all these new games...

Sigh... Sony, fix it. It would be good for new PSP users but old ones that have a collection of games... This'll just be a pointless upgrade.

Might be real, but I just can't see sony losing UMD, this will only attract new buyers.

From the looks of the pictures, I don't think I'd be able to hold and play it comfortably without it feeling a little off balance in my hands :/.

Are you serious. I hate the look of this first off, but enough about that because everyone hates the look.

I don't understand Sony's reasoning for this.

A. Kill UMD. Well their goes everyone who supported your other PSP's and actually bought the games.

B. Download Only. What If I dont have internet access?. What I live in one of those countries where they limit your Downloading amount. "More customers lost"

C. One analog stick. Really? Would it have hurt you to put one more on so we can play games like Ape escape and better FPS.

D. Technical specs. Will these new downloadable games not work on the older PSP's?

E. Memory Stick Micro. Is that it? Does it support the original Pro Duo's? If not they're goes more money I have to spend.

All those are terrible decisions by Sony. No wonder people pirate they're products they just pretty told all the other loyal PSP customers to go screw themselves.

It would be impossible for me to download some PSP games, so a purchase is out of the question for me (and many Belgians)

Hopefully we get some good news on this on the E3, like what they are going to do with all the UMD's some people bought.

Maybe they'll start selling games on M2s instead of UMDs.

Then again, they probably won't.

Ohwait, then PSP 1000/2000/3000 owners probably couldn't play the games without having to get a M2 to Pro Duo adaptor.

I actually might get one (Despite the whole no CFW thing), looks pretty cool, and i got more than enough free games from Sony xD. As long as i keep/replace my old PSP, it would even out in costs.

I'm not sure if its a rumor or not, but they said that you would be able to take your umd's and get a digital copy for the GO! but I can't be certain.
Plus they aren't killing umd, b/c they're selling it along side the 3000
