Hey all! Have everything working on 13.60.

But some exfat files are a bit slow on an external USB (10gb high end nvme) Some work perfect!

I want to transfer the exfat to my m2 expansion nvme installed and working on the ps5

Whenever I use the file browser app payload to copy it to what I "think" is the write location "ext1/homebrew" it just crashes the Ps5. Is that the right location? How to I get some of these exfat files on my M2 expansion drive?

Thanks!

"13.60" Missed the 1. Its a typo. Yes the M2 is working perfectly fine.

So really, if I want to transfer a game (folder, exfat whatever) I KNOW how to put it in the data folder "homebrew" on the PS5 but where is the location of the M2 drive if you have one installed and want to put some on it? Is that just not possible?

Thanks!

Gotcha.

Unfortunately, I do not have a good answer for you. /mnt/ext1/ is indeed the correct location for an M.2 drive. So I do not know why you are having issues. All I can really suggest is trying a different application/method; perhaps uploading them via FTP.

So whats weird is that I can transfer PS4 installed PKG's and all that to the M2 so I know its working correctly at a hardware level.

maybe has something to do with that particular SSD. Well thanks for confirming mnt/ext1 is the correct location!

I have the same exact problem. I am on 4.03. I can install .pkg files to my M2 but if I want to copy or move an exFAT game from USB to M2 it crashes the PS5 compeltely.
