Years ago I transfered my switch saves to play on Ryujinx. I played about 60 hours of the game on Ryujinx and now since I got a switch 2 I want to transfer that save back over.

I got the PC backup on my EMUMMC, but JKSV keeps saying it doesn't have a meta file when I try to restore it. I'll attach the file just in case I'm missing something.

JKSV throws that error when it sees files/folders it doesn't recognize.
I vaguely recall that ryujinx creates those folders '0' and '1' for different profiles in ryujinx.
So you need to copy the 2 files from inside the '0' folder and also the ExtraData0.
Then JKSV should not bother you with that error.
If that doesn't recover your savefiles, then it should be the files from folder '1' and ExtraData1
It's been ages since I touched save games so things might have changed in the meanwhile.

I'm still getting the No meta File error.

Someone mentioned to select the 3 individual files and zip them up :

Thank you. I tried the methods in in there and they didnt work, but I did find out what I was doing wrong.

I got this Ai gen answer and it made me realize I was doing something wrong this entire time.

"To transfer saves from emuMMC to sysMMC, you must use homebrew save management tools like JKSV or Checkpoint. The standard procedure involves:

  1. Booting into your emuMMC and using the tool to backup the desired save files.
  2. Rebooting the console and booting into your sysMMC (preferably in Airplane Mode to avoid telemetry issues).
  3. Launching the same game once to generate a fresh save slot, then using the tool to restore the backed-up files."

I realized I was trying to get the save restored on EmuMMC and I didn't do the backup on EMUMMC till now. So My issue was I was being stupid.

Thank you again for trying to help me.

As long as the game doesn't extend the save container, it should be fine. The error will pop up, but it should continue to import the data.
