Hacking Help! 12.00 FW And DNS Not Blocking

wth am I missing....I'm on FW On FW 12.00 - i followed these steps

Uncheck box to connect to internet
Uncheck Download Update Files Automatically
Uncheck Install Update Files Automatically
Web Browser - delete cookies
Web Browser - clear website data
Setup internet connection - set the DNS to either 45.56.67.85 or 62.210.38.117

When I test the connection it is able to connect to the internet but it still apparantly can connect to PS servers, and it shows I have an update avaliable??
