Sorry for likely being painfully uninformed, but Im still curious. How come userland is not seen as particularly useful? Does it just not have the potential to be turned into any kind of homebrew? Because I remember on 3ds and Wii U there exploits that, while not allowing true cfw, did at least allow some form of homebrew to be launched, like homebrew games/emulators/etc. Was that not userland? It wouldnt be cfw sure, but I would personally think that would be some kind of major progress. Or is userland on the Switch 2 just that locked down to be able to do anything similar? Thanks!
I think it's also that the Switch/2 runs pretty much everything sandboxed, which wasn't the case of the 3DS/WiiU
