Microsoft cutting another 4800 jobs and selling major studios

They are at it again. This time Microsoft are laying off 4800 employees, with around 1600 of those being in the Xbox division. In fact, the plan is to lose 20% of the total staff at Xbox over the next 12 months.

They are also selling off 4 big studios: Doube Fine, Compulsion Games, Ninja Theory and Undead Labs.

It's all part of a major reset by new CEO Asha Sharma.

Is it finally the beginning of the so needed videogame market crash?
Xbox is on the ropes (thanks to their stupid decisions) and Sony with the greedy move of ending physical media, plus all the current consoles prices (and games) makes this the perfect time for a crash.

We need a reset on the market. It has become unsustainable for the majority of consumers.
