Which of the four seasons of the year do you prefer and like the most?

It seems there is a fairly common belief in our society that summer is the best season, the one when you'll have the greatest time, lots of fun, go on vacation with sunny weather, etc.

But the truth is, there are major downsides and upsides to each of the four seasons. It also heavily depends on which part of the world you live in.

So, which do you like the most and why? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Maybe you prefer Winter for spending more time at home playing video games? Maybe Autumn for the beauty of colorful falling leaves?

And if the question is way too off topic and general for a gaming forum.... well, which season in Animal Crossing do you like the best?

I like Spring and Fall, when you can leave open your windows, and not need Heat or Air Conditioning. Less $ for utilities.

Spring is so nice. The weather's nice, the temperature is perfect, it smells great, and more than anything being out in nature in the spring just makes you feel alive.

Summer has days like that but mostly I'm just suffering.

Autumn is nice right as the leaves are falling but there's such a short window before they start to rot. And it rains too much. But it's the best time of year to go camping, so it gets bonus points for that.

Don't even get me started on winter.

I voted Autumn, although the same applies for Spring also. Its just a nice time of year which is generally not too hot or cold.

Summer is just too hot and humid these days for me... we're just not equipped for the 30c + temperature we seem to be getting here a lot more frequently now.

As a kid it probably was summer though. We got 6 weeks off School and it was light until almost 10pm (so were allowed to play out with other kids on the street much later than normal)
