This is pretty screwed up in southern US news. A vacation bible school had a mock execution in their church. A bunch of guys in camo and holding rifles drag in a guy in a black hoodie, drop him down on the steps, and the mock shoot him to death all to the cheering and chants of many little children. The pastor says it's taken out of context, and they were shooting the devil.

I will continue to end my main posts with the reality that the US is a shithole country, and this is just another example of the insanity that goes on there.

Yeah, with Trump I'm used to bats dropping gradually all the time, but this... This is straight up horror. I knew some us (southern) churches had xenophobic rightwing views, but i thought that was mostly comedy ('what's this woke shit doing in my Bible?' ). This... This is dispicable.

Ten years ago Islamitic State beheaded what they considered enemies of the state and their religion. They never (NEVER) took it frivously or showed it to children. But that was then.
And this is where the bar is now. Anyone not openly condemning it or somehow defends it only needs to look into the mirror to find the devil.
