Connect orginal Gameboy hardware to the internet through a web browser with GB-Link USB
I am happy to share a hardware project I have been working on the past few years that allows your Game Boy to connect to the internet through your web browser on desktop or android with no software install required on the host device. Also supports sending multiboot homebrew from a web browser and dumping GB/GBC roms and restoring saves. Supports emulating GB Printer to print images from GB Camera as well as supported GB-Printer games. Full list of current games/applications found at https://gblink.io
This project has had tremendous software upgrades this year and grown tremendosly thanks to to efforts of @Essometer , myself, and many others. I developed the v2 hardware out of a need for better accessibility/availability as well as new QOL features. All aspects of the project are open source and as this is an rp2040 board you can also diy your own adapter with a pi-pico and a link cable. This project is still developing and I look forward to what people will use this platform for in the future!
