Ghostship 2.0.0 - Mary Celeste Alfa, builds for Switch:

https://github.com/HarbourMasters/Ghostship/releases

With randomizer, mod support and achievements :)
Very cool. This would be the third Mario 64 recomp to my Switch but still welcome of course, will def check it out! I just wish I could find a way to get the older Render96 recomp running in 60fps on Switch 😭 still have only been able to get it running in 30fps and Ghostship doesnt seem to support render96 assets does it?

I think it does, now that it has support for custom models as of 2.0.0.

Light House (Banjo-Kazooie) harbour masters PC port is coming July.

I wonder if a switch port will ensue.

Yeah, any recomp made with AI is getting major hate.

Battleship (smash), CVLOD, and SS Anne (Pokemon Stadium) are all AI driven.
Just curious is ai doing all the work and all the person does is look over it, to make sure it looks right. Even if ai is being used the person should still need to know how to code. I’m just not to sure if I should dislike ai if the person still needs to understand what code they are looking at which would mean maybe they could have coded everything without the help of ai.

These projects need human drivers to succeed.

I believe that as long as the AI is just a helper and not the load bearing force behind these things, it’s fine to be ok with because the developer has coding knowledge and is simply using it as an aide.

For example JNMartin86 and his Dreamcast ports from N64 decompilation. He’s using it to speed up his laborious processes.

If the project is just looked over and there is no knowledge of coding, that’s totally not ok, because issues cannot be addressed at a granular level, and generic slop will be output that cannot be updated or fixed easily.
