Hey guys. Working on a new translation for draglade 2, since I haven't seen anyone submit a release or anything.
I managed to reliably translate the intro cutscene and the cutscene after that (beat meeting Hibito and they register).
HUGE DISCLAIMER: This patch is heavily, and when I say heavily, I mean HEAVILYassisted by AI. I'm just a dumb overwhelmed med student with almost no knowledge in programming. I received a few pointer to lead me in the right direction by my very busy friend deathkill781. the translations are manual for the most part. I'm happy with the results. hope to deliver more very very soon. here are a few screen shots of it in action.
another thing to note, there are some text boxes with overlapping lines that I am too tired to iron out right now, but they're a really easy fix. the japanese in the second screenshot is because that's beat's default name when you name him and I didn't change it when I started the save.

Hey guys I got caught up in translating so much that I completely forgot about uploading another release. I'll put one up tomorrow once I finish translating the tutorial. look forward to that.

hey guys. sorry for no update. I finished translating the tutorial, but for some reason, the AI I'm using broke a function in the tutorial, and it's being very difficult at finding out what the problem is. I've been fighting it since yesterday morning. that's why I haven't made an upload yet.

I ALSO TRANSLATED THE FIRST PAGE OF THE MAIN MENU (there are some graphical glitches that I will fix later)

Hello everyone! new update!
I fully translated the main menu (save maybe for a couple entries I may have neglected) and the entire DS along with the Deck Customization and GNN UIs (the messages are yet to be translated).
I also translated the Title! Check this shiz out!

P.S. Working on UI is really tough and there's too friggin much of it. I might just focus on translating all the scripted text before I move back to translating graphic text.
Double P.S Glap tutorial has a problem. I don't know why the L at the end has a problem loading in correctly. please ignore it until I figure it out.

A translation of the game is currently underway. I'm happy to continue making your own patch, but you still need to work on it a bit.

Hey there! glad you noticed it! I love the work you're doing, I'm just doing this as a project on the side since I didn't see any releases from anyone yet. Super excited to see your release!

No, it’s definitely "Grap." If you look at the start of a fight in the previous game in Japanese, it says "Glap, Set...", but the localization (the official English translation) used "Grap, Set..." instead. I’m sorry if I came across a bit harsh, but I’ve been working on this for months, and you were the first to release a version of the story mode-one that, unfortunately, wasn't translated quite correctly.
Also, I noticed something in your translation that differs from mine. I ran into a specific limit that you didn't seem to encounter, and I’m curious how you managed that. I’ll send you a PM
