Hi guys. After a 5-year hiatus, I got my PS4 Pro back with firmware 6.72 and I use cached Leeful, also from 5 years ago. But the console crashes 1 out of 3 times. Can I ask if it's been updated/have any new ones come out?
Thanks

Oh nice, a Pro with a very low firmware.

I'd suggest using https://psx8.github.io/ as it's the host I use for my 9.00.

"My First Gran Turismo" (a fancy demo, if you will) has been uploaded as an FPKG, but it's only playable on consoles 9.00 and up. I hope a backport will be released so lower firmware users can enjoy too.

Thank you so much. I have two questions, if I may:
- Do I need to update the firmware? I see that all the games I'm interested in have the patch for firmware 6.72 or lower.
- What's the difference between PlayStation Pulse Host Selector and Leeful (which is up to v.10; I'm using the one from 5 years ago, I think it's v8)?

Thanks

Can't you spoof it?

I wouldn't update. 6.72 and 5.05 are the most stable firmware's. For most games released after 6.72 there is usually a backport for 5.05 and 6.72.

I think there are hosts you can spoof, but I can't test as mine are on 9.00 and up.

BTW, i want play AC Odyssey last update, that contain new mission and place, but the update is only for fw 9. I'm a 6.72. If I update, what I will miss?

I've used a PS4 on 7.02 and while it's cool to have a PS4 on a very low firmware, I felt kind of restricted because certain games were only backported as far as 9.00, so there's that.

You have to consider if you want to stay on 6.72 or upgrade to 9.00. To me, 9.00 is brilliant.

update 1.56 with all the dlc's is floating around somewhere out there with a backport for 5.05 and 6.72...you just need to know where to look

Hi, I bought the digital game star wars Race revenger. I tried to run Userland on my PS4 firmware 13.50 but I keep getting the error shown in the picture. Does anyone know why this happens?
Thanks

13.50 is the latest firmware so Sony has been made aware of the flaws and fixed it.

I saw some YouTube videos where they use the SWRR save file to run the userland, and I think it was with version 13.50. I know there's no kernel exploit yet; I was testing for a possible future exploit. I have to test it with the Japanese version of the game.
Thanks
