I'm using HDL batch install currently, and it's installing the games to the HDD, it may take a bit so I'd suggest watching the thread until I give an update for when it's done, though do let me know if there's anything else I should be aware of

Update, none of the games showed up in OPL.. :/ was there something I missed? I'm kinda out in the woods here I was just told to use HDL
Okay wait. GPT and exFat aren't working at all? Nor is HDL Batch Install working either? At this point I'd follow the PSBBN install guide for use with 3rd party SATA adapter. I can't tell you to put PSBBN on your HDD because you're not using an OEM adapter with a SATA mod installed.
The install guide for 3rd party adapters will instead let you load up OPL from a cold boot if I'm not saying something stupid.
I did not, I just used HDL as you told me to do, I'll try this guide but not at the moment, I need a break from this as just from skimming the guide it's a lot to take in

The guide you sent, it looks to be a guide on installing fmcb as well as installing apps, opl, and using HDL, am I supposed to start entirely from scratch or is there a specific part of that guide I'm supposed to be looking at?

First, I recommend trying a different HDD with the network adapter. There's a chance the 3rd party adapter just doesn't like your HDD.
I've also had 3rd party adapters blow fuses.
There are 2 fuses for powering the HDD. If the HDD spins up but doesn't load, or isn't detected at all, that may mean that 1 or 2 of the fuses needs replaced. You can identify these fuses by the '50' or 'S3' marking on them. Using a multimeter while the system is powered off, you can check the fuses for continuity.

Check if the hdd is supported by wLaunchELF - misc - hddmanager.
HDD status connected: yes
(wLaunchELF doesn‘t support internal exfat)
For exfat support the hdd has to be formatted with default cluster size (128kb).
Sector size is not the same as cluster size, sector size has to be 512 (512e) not 4k (advanced format).
Check your hdd from an elevated cmd prompt (windows)
