Decided to try these recently and immediately ate most of the box because I am a swine and also because they're that good. Very short and crumbly crust, with a crunch of sugar on top, somewhere between pie crust and sugar cookie; chewy jammy apple filling with a hint of cinnamon and chunks of apple for variety. Not even remotely similar to apple Newtons, in case you've had those.
Very nice, would recommend.
