Gaming Bubsy 4D releases to less-than-spectacular reviews

Despite all the hope for its release, Bubsy 4D came out today to almost no fanfare. Metacritic shows that critic reviews average at 62-66/100, and OpenCritic shows even worse, at 57%. Game Informer gave the game a 4/10, and Giant Bomb gave it a 3/5. Some reviews were warmer, with IGN and Nintendo Life giving it a 7/10. Unfortunately, Bubsy likely won’t have another game for a while…

Bubsy 4D is available on all major platforms.

I got a copy of Bubsy 3D for my eighth birthday and thought it was shit. Got told I was ungrateful by my family for not liking it. It was the only game I got that year.

Eventually i turned 17 and decided to google Bubsy and found out it was one of the worst games of all time. I than shared this with the family.

I'm nearly 36 and still hate the fucking bobcat.

I will still grab it on sale. Demon Turf is an amazing 3d platformer, Demon Tides is great as well, those two are both from Fabraz, so is Bubsy, I enjoyed the demo as well, so unless it goes seriously downhill in the full game, I still want to play it.

Why was there a release of a new Bubsy game? Everyone hated Bubsy, I get if it was a good release, if it's not, what are they doing... Is it a Producers type of scam?

I believe there are a lot of game creators out there that could make an excellent Bubsy game. For little money even.

well steam likes it. most of the bad reviews are because it's too short. but it plays similar to galaxy
