Two games I can't find for sale - Hollow Knight Silksong and Elminage

I try to buy Switch games physically when they're available for a reasonable price.

Both these games are on my list.

Everything I can find says they both should have been out by now.

I can't find any english physical copies of either game.

Can anyone help? I've been searching for weeks with no results.

Hollow Knight Silksong was supposed to be released for switch physical in early 2026, and it's nearly June and I cannot find anything but news stories from 2025. I checked their website and saw no updates.

Just to correct this part, it was apparently never slated for early 2026:

It also seems the game you linked on PlayAsia is Japanese-only. The site lists English language releases pretty clearly as multi language:

Thanks. I thought for sure there was going to be a translation released. I was excited to try it.

Castle Shikigami trilogy would be cool though, didn't know they made that.

feels like physical releases are getting rarer and rarer. I feel like one of the next two gens will be the start of digital only consoles rather than having them be optional.

it's weird in elminages case because I dont see it on the US eshop either. Maybe its only on the japanese store at the moment.

It's an indie game, physical releases of them were unheard of in the past and have only more recently become a thing thanks to companies like Limited Run.
