Hello everyone

I'm currently looking for new games for pc to play online.
Sadly, the community I was playing with was starting to be toxic (I'm in the middle of a depression, and it seems that being suicidal is something to make fun of)
So, I have no choice but to move on.

Are there people here who are part of some kind of community of a video game?
For example, a specific video game where they are part of a clan/guild?
MMORPG or anything?

My preference in term of Theme are : Scifi, fantasy
My preference in term of gameplay are : Pretty much anything except gameplay where you need precise aim (such as call of duty). I have Parkinson, and aiming an opponent to the head isnt my forte

I'm not very good when it comes to speak english, but if i can just chat (as in writting), then there is no problem, i can get by :)

Please share your ideas

Thanks :)

You should try Guild Wars 2 or some game of the Ragnarok saga, also if you have money you can play Final Fantasy 14 and join a guild. :toot:

U can try Star Wars The Old Republic. is fun, can be jedi, sith, mandalorian, agent, even rogue-like brawlers.. uses same engine I think as WoW.

If you want simple, Palworld, Valheim, Ark can be made as servers and you can play with no toxic enviroment. Non-steam, you can setup a server for WoW and play in a world of your own. Your servers, you can make them restricted/private so only you decide who can play on them with you.
Reality is any open online game will have toxic players. That is just the way society is nowadays. Running your own server (even if it just you playing) is quite enjoyable. I have several private dedicated servers running (most non-steam) for family and close friends. A simple quad-core with 8GB can run most dedicated servers. I have a dual-core I use as a server test bench. Once I get the server going with everything running, I kill it and install it on a permanent linux box. Windows is easier to setup a server, but will require more resources than linux and I just love linux. Steam games mentioned are the quickest/easiest to setup.

Just something to consider to your issue :)

You have Parkinson?

You have Parkinson?
Had*, and kinda*. It was induced by medication due to a bad psychiatrist. I can't say I have fully recovered my handiness, but I don't have these shaky hands anymore. Though, I thought it was already gone back then, in 2023.

My grandfather had Parkinson. In the late stages is an horrible condition 😢.

I hope current treatments are more effective nowadays.

I don't know it at all, but I'll make a suggestion. I think people are tolerant there, it's not really a game with much gameplay. But if you want to chat verbally, maybe try VRchat?

It depends on how well balanced and how good an online game is. I've been a big fan of the Drakensang series of games. Google Drakensang Online its a pvp/pve game with a huge world. Its well worth your time. I don't know of too many online games since they are too time consuming.

I'm actually the leader of a clan called Shadow Company Six and we are recruiting new members. Its made up mostly of pro gamers and we play many different games. Trying to recruit enough of players so that we can compete in tournies.

Sorry if I can't be helpful enough. I don't normally play mmos I play a lot of retro games and a lot of modern games as well. Me and some of my clan members for example play different games together but its really all about loyalty and friendship. The whole goal is for example, to play as many different games as possible. Also the only rules I have is to be nice and no cheating.

Some more online games you may enjoy other than drakensang online are; black desert online, elder scrolls online, , Hope this helps some people out who are looking to jumping right into mmo or online games. You should try resident evil outbreak file 1 and 2. While the US servers have long since closed, the japan servers are up. I remember having a blast back in the day with that game.
