The modchip flashes blue then white with the sd card inserted and blue for about 2-3 seconds then white without sd card inserted. It wont even show the no sd card loaded screen anymore. Am I just cooked?
**Method b) - Using hwfly-toolbox
This method does not require opening device, but it cannot flash the bootloader.
LED patterns in bootloader will not correspond with documented ones.
- Obtain hwfly toolbox from https://github.com/hwfly-nx/hwfly-toolbox/releases
- Place hwfly_toolbox.bin in sdcard:/bootloader/payloads/.
- Boot switch into hekate, then run hwfly_toolbox.bin payload.
- Update SD loader from toolbox menu.
- Power off console from menu.
- Place firmware.bin and sdloader.enc from hwfly firmware into sdcard root. Do not do so earlier.
If you have previously flashed a beta firmware, also create empty file .force_update in sdcard root.- Put SD in switch and power on while holding VOL+ (verify: modchip green light keep pulsing while hekate loads).
- Run hwfly_toolbox from hekate again.
- Update firmware from menu.
- Reboot & done.
Yeah I probably didnt follow the proper steps because certain steps werent mentioned from the gitthub link I followed compared to the ones you sent. The problem is it wont even say "no sd card found" or anything anymore, the modchip just flashes the colors previously stated before and thats it. I hope it is a modchip issue but idk because I didnt open up the console to update it.Either you didn't follow all steps for updating it properly or in case you used the USB bootloader cable and opened up the Switch, you might have accidentally maybe disconnected a wire or the SD card reader got disconnected

This can be fixed.
Try running the update once more and if that doesn't work, send it in to a repair shop.
In the worst case, you need a new modchip.
