This looks pretty sweet.

Has the hack improved or we still wait 20+ mins for it to exploit? I'd love to have a 360 hacked.

Awesome. Guess I'll be keeping a matte black 360 slim I bought (looks really nice than the glossy one) and I'll try the stuff I've wanted for years, like loading a pirated game on a 360.

I have a NTSC-J sealed copy of Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 stated "with English text" so I want to try that too. Tried selling but no one ever bought... Guess it's my luck now. :)
 


I always said how "360 hack pack is more then just some assembled zip file" and how it uses a dynamic, smart, easy to up date logic to keep it up to date with the constantly moving Xbox 360 scene, and that is still true.

I have been going through a lot IRL, but who cares about that when I finally have a release to drop?? And if your a dev you know dropping a release is the best thing to take your mind off of IRL. So here it is:

  • Patch Aurora.xex/make it boot automatically after FreeMyXe. This already works for XeUnShackle, but I need to integrate actually patching of the Aurora before making the zip file for FreeMyXe to auto-launch after exploit.
  • Implement Dashboard exploit/HDD avatar exploit.
  • More options for original Xbox compatibility included by default.
  • ?? You tell me. I've been very happy with this. All my games from Fallout 3+GOTY DLC to GTA V have worked since pretty much the begining.


I don't know what the drama is with consolemodswiki, but this is the original hack pack for 360, I've kept my effort updating it, and have remained unbiased in the best sot-mod. I give you both options, you find out for yourself what you like better (FreeMyXe or XeUnshackle). I've had zero issues with either since March when I started this project, and offer both...

I’m thinking at the very least I should make a webpage about multi-disc games. I completed fallout 3 GOTY with this including all DLC before the reliability improvements, I’m now playing fallout new Vegas Ultimate edition , hardcore survival mode very hard; Ideally I’d I just make a tool for you and me to do this but at the very least explain how to play multi disc games like gta v, max Payne 3 (that one seems or need a plugin it’s in investigation list next) how they work with https://github.com/alex-free/extract-xiso (the best format).

Bad avatar is on my radar too, but bad update is like 2 minutes to exploit now and I’m lazy

ABadAvatar has arrived, any wow did I wait. Turn on console with ext usb HDD or flash drive containing the 360 Hack Pack v1.0.5, wait 30 seconds to a minute, and boom!

Version 1.0.5 (4/29/2026)​

Changes:

  • Replaced BadUpdate with ABadAvatar. Thanks @Lost-Entrepreneur439 for finally pushing me to add it.
  • Removed Rock Band Blitz demo since this is no longer needed. Just turn on the console and wait at the sign-in screen on boot doing nothing until the exploit triggers. This will also massively save space on the 'ready to copy' releases of 360 hack pack. Literally easist exploit every completely automatic at this point.
  • Changed download links from digiex to archive.org equievelents, since they are faster and more reliable.
  • Small fixes to 360hp and build system.

To everyone making fun of me for keeping my 360e on for months when Bad update was taking hours to work look at us now ;) Literally we went from multiple hours with a specific game, to minutes, to no game needing to be launched... Yes I know we can't write to nand and do fancy dashboard downgrades but I'm sorry most of your rgh advantages are dead now. Plebs that can't solder can do this with a usb flash drive or (as I recommend a USB HDD),,, Thanks to everyone who worked on this. I hope you enjoy this mid 2000s style hack pack as much as I.

P.s. played tomb raider 2013 and rise of the tomb raider (2015 release) just fine with the https://github.com/alex-free/extract-xiso (my nextract-xiso fork). Tutorial on that, DLC, and multi-disc games maybe I'll write one ETA SON
