So I recently updated Hekate to 6.5.2, Atmosphere to 1.10.2 and used daybreak to install 21.2.0 fw to play tomadachi life but like a dingus I clicked on FAT32 when I installed the update and it refused to launch emuMMC. So I decided to wipe the SD and recreate my emuMMC and just start fresh. But now when I try to launch into EmuMMC/SysMMC(CFW) it flashes the atmosphere splash for half a second and goes to a black screen forever, no Nintendo switch logo or anything and have to reboot into RCM again. I followed the directions on this page (https://switch.hacks.guide/user_guide/getting_started) for creating the emuMMC but I just can't seem to get CFW to launch at all. Stock also only works if I completely shut down the switch and boot normally. OFW won't launch either if I launch from hekate. I've been so confused on why the hell I can't launch cfw and any help would be much appreciated.

P.S. Launching emuMMC with log enabled spits out a couple lines really fast then goes to black screen as well

EDIT:
I recorded my screen to see if i could catch the lines that it spat out and I've attached an image with what it says just before going to a black screen.

Not sure if this is the case with your Switch but I got the same issue when something is wrong with the installation files on the SD card (too old version not supporting the newer firmware, missing files, archive bit set, mismatch with primary payload).
Hekate has an option in the tools section to fix the archive bit.
Besides that, just download the latest installation files once more for the GitHub repositories.

Format your SD card as fat32 with guiformat http://ridgecrop.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

I thought Hekate's partitioning formats in fat32 but to exhaust all options I ran guiformat with 32k clusters and I'm letting Hekate create the sd partition now for emuMMC and I'll install the latest hekate again as well as the latest atmosphere and see what it does.

Nope, after formatting to FAT32 it still does it. If I had accidently installed it to sysMMC(CFW) would that be causing any complications? I might have been in SysMMC(CFW) when I installed the update through daybreak.

I’m assuming you downgraded your emummc.. try the downgrade fixer payload in hekate. Should be included in the hats pack

I tried updating my emummc to 21.2 from 19.0, not downgrade

I got the payload off of HATS (I also copied everything over from HATS) and ran it, It said it fixed something for sysMMC but now I can't get back into hekate... I'm injecting the same hekate bin that the HATS has but now I can't get into Hekate rofl

Disregard, it booted into hekate rofl. Still goes to black screen if I try to launch either CFW (Sys/Emu)

Running fusecheck my stock fw is 12.0.0 and burnt fuses match required fuses. Do I need to update my stock fw to run 21.2 or something?

EDIT:
Is this a case of having to maybe restore my emmc BOOT0 & BOOT1/RAW GPP? I am at a complete loss on how to remedy this situation. I also have 13.0.0 rawnand/BOOT0/BOOT1 backups I made when I first modded my switch

UPDATE:
I've restored (I guess it was 12.0) nand and I can boot now into sysMMC but emuMMC is still just going to a black screen. Trying to boot into OFW gives me a unknown pk1 error or something and emummc still goes to black screen but I can sucessfully boot into SysMMC(CFW). I have no clue what to do now lol. Reformat SD and try creating emuMMC again?

UPDATE:UPDATE:
I have fixed my problem. I think I had messed up my sysMMC because what I did to fix it was restore my 12.0 nand, re-partioned SD, re-created emuMMC and was able to launch. I then proceeded to update to 22.0 and everything works fine. Been panicking these past couple days thinking I screwed up my switch but everything is good now.
