I am going to be installing a modchip into my switch lite and hacking it but I was curious if there was an hshop for the 3ds equivalent for modded switches? If not how and where would I get games for the console?

There is paid tinfoil shop you need monthly subscription

They couldn't possibly be in the, you know, sigpatches topic? lol

Anyway. Forget about dumb sigpatches. Use sys-patch instead.

https://github.com/impeeza/sys-patch/releases/latest
for some reason I can't do "git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/ITotalJustice/sys-patch.git" as instructed in the github page

What happens when you just try to re-install 22.1 using Daybreak?
I can't get back into the switch UI to do that. (Only way I know how).
I can boot into Hekate menu, but if I try launch into anything I get the error :/

Is there a way to run daybreak from there?

I've been told that some of my information is outdated?
I can launch lockpick through Hekate apparently, and that the latest version is here: https://gbatemp.net/download/lockpick_rcm-1-9-16-fw-21-0-0-zoria-hekate.39459/

Is that right? Will this still dump the keys of firmware version 22.1.0? I noticed that TegraRCMGUI has not been updated since 2019, will it still work?

That is for firmware 21.x.x you need 1.9.19

No need to build. Just download the zip and extract to sd card.

Maybe try Atmosphere 1.8.0 and Hekate 6.2.2? Outside of that I dont know. Sorry I can't help out more.

Thanks, I was trying to find the latest version but all I found was that older link and dead repos. I wasn't aware that there was a new active repo that was still being updated.

I can just load this through Hekate using Fusee and don't need to run it on it's own right?

Hi, need some advice.

My CFW is 20.1.1

I need to upgrade to firmware 22.1.0

Its been a while since I done this, but the procedure is to download and copy atmosphere to the sd card from here

https://github.com/atmosphere-nx/atmosphere/releases

Then use daybreak to install firmware.

Is that correct?, btw do I need to update sigpatches as this is the most confusing.

Thanks

Yes you need to update sigpatches or move to syspatches, as for homebrew you will need to update all your homebrew again, firmware 21.0.0 and above homebrew need to recompiled.

Is there a guide how as the sig patches/sys is really confusing. I watched youtube videos explaining how to update but none go into details really how. Also homebrew, what do you mean as I only use dbi, do I need to update daybreak too?. More confused now than ever.

edit apologies need to update to 21.0.0, does that make a difference?
is this video accurate in updating?

We don't recommend youtube video, you don't really need a guide it just grabbing the latest one and replace the old one if it exist. But if you need instruction you can read the thread page or the github page.

https://github.com/impeeza/sys-patch

You can use either

For the modchip for the switch lite do I really need to plug it into my computer and flash it with the latest firmware?

Thank you, OK from what I gathered and you replied.

Update Atmosphere, then copy over syspatch as sig is no longer supported.

Then update firmware via daybreak?.

Can I confirm this sounds correct, anything obvious I'm missing?
