Adjustable ankle weights.

Don't really need to change up the weight too much, but the adjustable ones have the packets of sand in their own little bags, so the stitching won't pull on them when you move about.

I did have these before https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9203004 and they failed exactly like that. You can see on them the segments filled with sand are directly stitched, so as you move about eventually the weight starts opening up the stitch holes and the sand comes out. Easily solved by having the sand in bags, but then they would have cost another £1, so we won't bother and just let it leak everywhere instead. Most of these use Iron sand as well, so as a bonus, you get rust on the stitching as well once the sand starts getting exposed to moisture.

My nephew got tickets from school to a local CFL team's game. I don't like football at all. It's weird because I prefer fighting sports (but don't really watch much), but if tennis is on, I watch it. I remember when I was in school, my classmates used to ask me how I knew/understood the rules of tennis because it confused them. I don't think they believed me when I told them it was because of Mario Tennis. Not looking forward to it, but if taking him to see it will make him happy, I'd do it even though I know that he will probably hate it because it's most likely going to be a 3-hour game with about 9 to 11 minutes of actual play.

G304X. Wanted a change from my old G pro wired, still works, but desk is getting a bit cluttered these days, so wanted to get rid of the cable and mouse bungee.

Wanted a similar shaped mouse without a coating that breaks down and goes sticky. That's slim pickings, but the 304x fits it.

It's just a G304/5 (same thing, G304 is Asia, G305 is the west) with an upgraded sensor and built in battery. No release in Europe yet, have to import it. Only £30 or so, so not fussed about warranty, mostly just mouse buttons fail anyway and you can replace them yourself.

Apparently no plans for a western release yet, probably just want you to buy one of the £100 models.

I like the purple highlights, logitech should have made the side buttons purple as well.

I've been wanting to get something like an R36S emulation handheld for a while because I'd like to play games on trips without needing the separate hardware. I'm a first-timer so I've spent the next few hours doing plenty of extensive research about them on "handhelds.wiki" and looking at YouTube videos for what it's like. Apparently there's been a ton of clones that don't perform as well; luckily I bought the one from BOYHOM since they are well respected and it's genuine.

It originally came with a China-branded microSD card with 64GB; it has several GBs of data corrupted, so I got out genuine microSD cards to opt for a 2-card setup (one for games and one for the OS).

With what it offers in terms of customization and support, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Good mice yes. But sometimes its the scroll wheels that brings them down.

I changed the scroll wheel on my G603 for a metal one because the plastic OEM one broke, then I had to change the scroll wheel encoder because the first one skipped all over the place.

If you have a v21, I would solder (if you know how) a Wi-Fi board (RTL8188ETV). It can be used to scrape box art, link with another R36S, or just download OS and emulator upgrades. Also it costs about $3ish, iirc.

It's a V22 model R36S. I don't see myself installing a Wi-Fi board, perfectly fine loading the artwork if I needed to. Thank you for the suggestion, though.

I was given a purple DOL-001 GameCube that has a broken lid switch, so it thinks it's always open. I fixed that by soldering a wire so the GameCube thinks it's always closed. I also noticed that it had a Pi Pico with Picoboot installed, but the DA15 diode was gone, so the SP2 wasn't working with it.

I ended up ordering 10 UMN1NTR diodes off Digikey because apparently that's what was there. The pads are good; the diode is just gone.

Had to cave and buy an audio interface because my old Roland workstation finally gave out. Got a Behringer umc204hd

In my opinion, after working with it for about a month, it's over-hyped. Supposed to be very quiet, high quality preamps for a budget price, with high gain even with dynamic mics.

I'd say the noise is doable, but far from quiet. Still need a couple of instances of Bertom denoiser; the preamps are fine, but are nothing to write home about; and as far as working good with dynamic mics, I literally have to max out both the channel output and main output and get right up on the mic (about 2 inches from the 12th fret of my acoustic) to get an acceptable input level. My old Roland VS-880EX from the early 90s worked just as good or better. Not to mention the lack of support from Behringer. The drivers are a mess when used with Tracktion Waveform.

End of rant.

Short story long, it's fine for the price, but over-hyped and misrepresented by the home-recording community.
