I just want to know if Wind Waker is completely playable from start to finish. I've read Twilight Princess gets heavy slow downs on some areas, hopefully it gets better. Amazing work still to be able to do this on the Switch.
Settings for Twilight Princess USA
Tico: 0.7.1
Device: Lite
Overclock: Tico stock
Firmware: 19.0.1
Atmosphere: 1.11.1

If the game's performance drops, that's normal
The solution is to stay in that slow area for 30 seconds to 1 minute to build up the shader cache
Then, exit tico and close the application.
Reopen tico by holding R1 while launching any Switch game
The game will run smoothly again, but when entering or staying in that slow area, do not pause, open the inventory or options, open the overlay/tesla menu, or press the Home button

Anyone knows how to overclock this? Running sys-clk on the title used for loading it makes nothing it seems.

No need to, Dolphin has set overclock whenever you run the game and resets if you get back to menu. If you want to override it and increase, just use sys-clk overlay with Ultrahand, works fine.

Good man and good work, i don't have a need for it myself but can see it's a great companion app 👌

@Sukalibur are there any future plans to enable texture mods within Dolphin? Just curious as I tried a few with no dice!
have you changed these 3 settings in the gfx.ini file?
HiresTextures
EnableMods
CacheHiresTextures

Oh, I have not. Will try tho, thanks 👍👍

Edit - set them all to true and confirmed enable mods is on in the menu but still no dice.

Is there a specific path to put mods in? Have tried the load folder and put them in graphicsmods and textures folder, also tried the config folder/graphicsmods with 🤷

been playing wind waker it has some slow downs especially Dragon Roost when throwing the girl across the bridge the wind makes it so slow even with overclocking. Still very playable though. Plus this is in alpha so hopefully it gets better once out of testing

We will soon have the pc port of twilight Princess on Nintendo switch with 60fps etc. Just wait to have the perfect experience! :)

I hope Triforce games are going to be supported eventually, I'd love to finally be able to play Mario Kart Arcade GP on my Switch

Wasn't there a cheat code made for TP called Hyrule field speed hack? I think then it got integrated into Dolphin but you'd have to enable it with right clicking the game.

It needs every ounce of power, currently only playable on overclocked Mariko with Linux

Nice to meet you!
I was wondering if it would be possible to add a disc-swapping feature to the options in tico? There’s a game called Bibiribon where you can switch to a disc containing a song and then play the game set to that song, and I’d like to use that feature.
