Does anyone know how to port only the Nanostyle Chibi models? I want the most vanilla experience possible, but with those character models.

Hello, can I get a link to latest version of New Threat with Ninostyle models ?

Or base game with Ninostyle models ?

Are there others mods working ? (60 FPS, widescreen,..)

Can it work in all langages (French) or only english ?

Thank you very much.

Hey, I know this is probably a dead end, but I'm trying to get the Shinra Archeology Cut working on the Switch.

I think I've gotten it working, but I'm unsure, as I can't get the video replacements to work. Testing with the beta openings that have overlay text to see if any of them will run properly. Aside from that, the translation and intro PNGs seem to be working. Just trying to figure out the last aspects of this. If anyone could offer any help or insight here, I'd greatly appreciate it.

A small update to this: I managed to get the video replacements working by changing their formatting to .mp4.

That just leaves some .exe modifications that need to be done. I can figure out how to modify the .exe from the steam version, and I've read in the thread that it's possible to do a .exe replacement via renaming, but I'm unsure of what to name it to, let alone where to put it to replace the official in-game .exe.

If anyone knows how to do .exe modifications for the switch version, or .exe replacements, please let me know!

EDIT: I've successfully found where the .exe is in the ROMFS, but replacing it with a modified .exe doesn't seem to do anything. Menu retranslations aren't reflected or implemented when running the game.

Hello Guys,

I modded my Switch v2 exactly one month ago and was amazed by the ability to play with mods.

As a huge fan of FF7, especially the original on PS1, I wanted to give the "New Thread" Mod a try.
I was tinkering around the last few days to get 2.099999 to work on switch, as I am a newb to Switch modding.

If you´re interested in testing the "Port", please give it a try.

Edit1:

The howtoplay_keyassign_XX.pngs are just copied from Ssingledad7, that means it shows version number 2.09991 on them.

Am I allowed to share those files here, or should I ask in Qhimm.com first?

Have fun.

Oh nice! This sounds very cool! I'm also huge FF7 fan and i have already played New Threat from start to finish with my switch before but now i will test this one using my Odin 2 Portal. Thanks for this. As a fan of the game to another fan here's my custom soundtrack for the game. I have handpicked all the tracks from the "best versions" of different soundpacks that i have been able to find. If you want to try here's link. Keep up the good work 🙂
