While this is cool it's never going to run full speed so can't help feel the work and effort could better go towards something that actually will be fully functional. Like Sega Model 3 or something.

This is just a little novelty that won't really be usable. Unless the work on it carries over to Switch 2 homebrew in the future or something I guess. Still a cool effort 👍
Dude IT'S AN ALPHA, give it time. Just having this alpha is already quite the win.

I am quite surprised to see GC/Wii games running that well on a Switch 1 in those videos.
Is the Switch 1 overclocked?

Time ago I read HorizonOS homebrew couldn't use Vulkan... so this is done in OpenGL/ES?
I've never heard of vulkan on hos, maybe is deko3d (very similar to vulkan).
On the github page it is stated that it uses Vulkan but since no source is provieded is hard to prove.
I think is done with deko3d

I tested Mario Kart Double Dash and am very impressed with the results ! The Saturn emulator i great too, I can finally play Toshinden Remix at full speed on my Switch, this is basically a dream come true for me as my Switch can finally become the all-in-one console I wanted.

Wow, this looks really nice. Is it also possible to launch the installed Switch games from it?
Until now I always used Lakka as another boot option, but that always had trouble finding my Joycons (especially 3rd party ones).

no, only emulator games

I avoided this because of the whole ignoring license crediting and AI coding accusing stuff that happened in the first topic. From what I've read so far, that stuff has been resolved/debunked yeah? I might give this a go then.

(Not for GCN/Wii stuff though, I have a Wii for that and my Switch is a launch model.)

Even if it wasn’t debunked

The app works doesn’t it? So what’s the big deal? Big corporations use ai to help, and a lot of big scene devs do too.

It's just a personal thing mostly, but after seeing AI being used for lots of things, I would rather stuff be handled by humans. Yeah it's unusual standards to have regarding emulation, but it's my standards, dagnabit!
