I want to use Pokémon Home to transfer my goobers to champions, problem is: I got all of them in non-original games.
If I were to like, borrow an original game, could I inject it with my non-original save files and then use Home?

You can always trade over from a modded switch to a system that unmodded and then move it to pokebank if you want.

It can be a bit tricky.

If you only use the emummc for your pirating pleasures and your sysNAND never contained any pirated games, the procedure is straight forward :
- dump the save games from the emummc to the SD card with something like JKSV
- boot into sysNAND with OFW
- start/insert the game an start it up.
- boot into the sysNAND with CFW
- put the save games from the SD card back with JKSV
- boot into the sysNAND with OFW
- use Home

If you are using the sysNAND with CFW and already installed pirated games, you might get banned.
When connecting to the Nintendo services, Nintendo might check for pirated games.
This does happen when updating or entering the eShop but I don't know about the Home service.
Since the sysNAND OFW and CFW share the same operating system, OFW can see all the pirated games.
