It is common to find link back to a upper level Klass. Now we learned about OwnedCharacterData Klass.

Here we see at 0x80 the link to where we came from.
At 0x88 we will find the Klass that has exp

Hack this value and see if you gain level after the battle.
A word about pass by value and pass by reference.
Think of Klass as forms human can fill to capture information. You can pass the form to the next person to use and that person can return the form back to you when done with it. That is call pass by reference. This is good as there is only one form for you to keep track of and you save paper. This is what a game hacker would like to see. So if the dungeon walking manager pass the form to the battle manager to use in a battle you have a easy time because the form you found the battle manager holding is the one and only.
Too bad for this game it is not the case. Pass by value means the dungeon walking manager let the battle manager copy the form and the old form was discarded. When the batter manager is done dungeon walking manager copy the result into a new form.
To find the form that matter you have to search for all the forms and hack them to see which is actually the one that the dungeon manager is holding.

So in dungeon walking mode you know the current hp, you know the Klass, what you need to do is to search for instances of this Klass that has currentHP matching what you see in game. Use Search instance button and enter the range of the value to be exactly between 161 and 161 for this case. You will find more than one instance. What you need to do to find the one is to hack the values and look at the game screen to see which value actually appear.
Now that you have located the instance that matter in dungeon walking mode. You can do a pointer search.
You will have to analyze what you find for a good one.
