These don't work with Firmware 21, it shows an endless "please wait" as you try to launch them. And yes I have the modded Linkahlo and I've heard it showed that message for it too. Forwarders created with sphaira have the same issue. Does anyone have a fix?

Yes it does.

you can also use Online Version. or Sphaira for create and install forwarders
the online one does not seem to work for me anymore ive been using it for over a year now and suddenly at the time of writing this message it stopped working i had a issue after updating my emummc but i went back to the old version (did this for the second time long story dont ask) but my forwarded games stopped working and had to be uninstalled but then when re-making the forwarded nsp files using the website they dont seem to work on my switch anymore

Hey gang, I updated my atmosphere and switch to 20.5.0 and 1.9.5

All newer switch games works just fine, but anything with retroarch has an ! on it. I downloaded the program in this thread and ran it in full access mode, but I'm still very confused on what to do next. I can find my retro games but title is blank and I think I need product keys or something?

Any help on how to actually fix/forward the retro games using this would be so appreciated!

if you are using forwarders for retroarch you need to create new ones. try https://nsp-forwarder.n8.io/

v0.0.7 Released
New release is up: https://github.com/TooTallNate/switch-nsp-forwarder/releases/tag/0.0.7

Highlights:
  • Switch 21.x support — Updated runtime and recompiled forwarder binary against libnx 4.12.0-1
  • Deterministic title IDs — Title IDs are now generated from a hash of the NRO path (matching sphaira's logic), so reinstalling a forwarder replaces the old one instead of creating a duplicate
  • Touch-to-scroll — App grid and file picker now support touch scrolling
  • Bug fixes — Fixed scrolling issues, NPDM compatibility with pre-19.0.0 firmware, spaces in paths, and more
Download the .nro or .nsp from the release page.

Thank you muchly. Solved a problem for me with grace. It is lovely to see the homebrew scene achieve this level of simplicity. From the time I found the thread to working forwarder (after reading a bunch) was about 5 minutes.

Hey @tootallnate, this version is bugged for me, i'm on 22.1.0|AMS 1.11.1|E

Could you please look into this?

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Create hbmenu forwarder
2. Open it from Home Menu
3. Open a homebrew (Daybreak for example)
4. Close it with Exit

Error: The software was closed because an error occurred

The same happens closing a homebrew with + button (sphaira for example)

If i directly create forwarders without passing through the hbmenu, they don't close, they just restart.
If i use the 0.0.6 version (libnx ABI patched) all works fine but i have the annoying red warning message.
Also, the 0.0.7 version shows 0.0.6 in hbmenu.

The only one i tested and works without issues is DBI.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Should be fixed in v0.0.8.
