Emulation Homebrew melonDS for Switch — continuation part 2

Thx, this is great, my request was granted, and we now have a shortcut button to swap screens.
The only issue I’m noticing is that the screen sizes also get swapped. What I was hoping for is that when pressing the shortcut, Screen 1 would keep its original size and only switch to LCD 2.
I’ve tried adjusting the sizing in the menu, but it doesn’t seem to help in this case, it also doesn't work on hybrid.
tnx for the newly update v14. now i can switch the screen for real without changing the screen size. and i think it runs good compared to the early releases or just my imagination. lol

It DOES work, just not with a standard usercheat.db file.
You can use a pc to load the Usercheat.db for each of your games, then use the per-game cheat file it generates when doing this on the switch.
iirc, the per game cheat file is an .mch
Example: Pokemon Pearl.mch would be created when loading the usercheat.db using a PC on Pokemon Pearl.nds

Hi Falcon, I downloaded the Cheats Database but how do I load it. I tried changing the extension to .mch but still no luck. Haven't got a clue on how to do it. I'm looking in to doing cheats for Pokemon Platinum for now.

Hey guys. Anyone knows why even after loading the cheats from PC then transfered to switch but the cheats still doesn't work. The cheats does appear but after enabling the cheats that I want, it doesn't seem to be working. I've check the Rom ID and everything is done right. The cheats still wouldn't work.

I've tried with Digimon DS and also Luminous Arc.

if anyone got DSI to work please ping me 🙏

did you figure it out

Anyone using MelonDS plus Switch r14 can get their cheats to work? I have been trying to figure out about these cheats but none is working. I already done imported the cheats from usrcheat.dat on MelonDS on pc and transferred the .mch file to switch. But enabling the cheat does nothing it seems. Even copying the cheats from website does nothing.

If anyone can help solve this is very much appreciated.

Nice update :grog:
A working upscaler would be nice.
The moment upscaling is working is the moment I'm finally replaying Dragon Quest IX. I hope it'll come eventually. But still, yeah, this is pretty great.

I have a OG 3DS but the TN screens really suck. Even my Switch Lite with its simple IPS screen + Fizeau is miles better. Space Invaders Extreme 2 looks so colourful now.

Does anyone know if this works on the latest firmware (22.0.0), or what the highest firmware it's compatible with?

What kind of upscaler do you have in mind. I'm not sure what could be better Than the current integer scaling + nearest-neighbour filtering combo.
