Diablo 2 Reign of the Warlock - the software was closed because an error occured

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to run Diablo II on my Nintendo Switch, but the game crashes on startup with the error:

"The software was closed because an error occurred."

My setup:

Atmosphere 1.10.2 | E
Firmware 21.2.0

What I did so far:

Installed the game
Installed patch 1.0.31
Installed the offline mod

The game starts to load but after a moment it crashes and shows the error message above.

Has anyone managed to get this working with this firmware and Atmosphere version?
Is there something else that needs to be installed or configured?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Which program did you use to install the game? I found out that the non russian DBI for example and Awoo did not work. The russian version of DBI did work for me. I'm assuming you did download the latest syspatches?

ohhh I used Awoo and DBI (polish version) ! that make a sense. I will try to install using DBI ru . Of cource I uploaded the latest syspatches

Could be the emulated fuse a reason why it does not work? Im gettin sick with that

so i just downloaded the update and installed with the mtp from sphaira via usb and all is working fine im on fw21.20 with kefir atmosphere 1.10.2 and syspatch 1.59

what is your specs like what fw and atmosphere are you on ill see what i can do to help you also did you install dlc if so some of the dlc i have found have ticket errors that can cause the game to crash there is also a possibility that the offline mod could be the issue do me a favor and remove the mod and try to launch the game you should be able to get to the main screen and then when you press the a button it should say verification failed if you get that far it means the mod is the issue let me know because i made my own crack out of my pc save which does not require modding with layeredfs if its the case the mod is the issue the way to do this is to temperarely revert to base version 1.0 launch game create a save then use the file from my save that i will provide if you already have a save upload it and i will mod it so you can get past verification but let me know whats up
