Modder/micro repair dude says hello

Ah, no idea. About three years ago my GCN cobtroller burned, it, literally smoked... after taking it apart, I got curious and disasembled everything including the Analog Stick and it had a plastic ball chipped away on the sides, don't know if by design or just natural tear as I had that controller since 2001.
Seems I was wrong, the plastic can be repaired with the super glue + baking soda method and it seems quite effective. The internals aren't actually that different than a N64 controller, but just smaller. Of course the main difference is the wipers, which can't be easily repaired when they wear out and have to be replaced, but that doesn't affect the feel of the stick, merely the deadzone.

You can probably fix your controller with the 8bitdo NGC modkit, BTW. It replaces pretty much all the internals anyway. Everything except the rumble motor and the plastic parts.
