Hacking Emulation GBA Emulator Can anyone help load these old Visual Boy Advance save state files?

I have some old VisualBoy Advance save state files, the "sgm" files, that I want to load on various VisualBoy Advance emulators. The issue is that some of these files have double extensions (.sg1.SGM), and when I try to load them, I get an "Unsupported save game version 13" error. I’m trying to retrace my steps since some of these files date back to 2008–2010. Some of the files work fine as they only have a single extension, but the ones with double extensions don’t work at all. I need help loading them, as even the newer VisualBoy Advance emulators won’t run them. What can I do?

if you are trying to load it has to be the right version of the emulator
