PS4 Pro at 11.00. Should I update to 12.52?

Hello there, small topic question, I'm on 11.00 with my PS4 Pro, some game doesn't work for me and neither few game updates, should I update to 12.52 to solve this or it doesn't matter? Is there a benefits to stay or update the firmware?

Update to 12.02 (NOT 12.52 because this version is VERY unstable !!!)

IMHO, don't update. Wait for fixes/backports.

I've always been under the impression that one should stay on the lowest firmware possible, as there is always a chance for the discovery of permanent exploits. At most go to the next "stable" FW, which would still be 11.00.

Majority of Ps4 games are backported to work on lower FW than 12.52. Ive been on 9.0 for 4 years and still playing recent game dumps. The problem could be your source of getting said games. Or maybe not understanding what backported is. You need to install the 11.00 update fix to play the games

I've been on 9.00 since I've gotten my Pro and never updated beyond that (I think it was on 8.00 but there wasn't a hack). I've also got now a Pro on 10.50 which I use a BD-JB disc and one with 8.00 (yet to set it all up, I even got an SSD for it as well).

Just don't let someone use the console without your permission or that low FW could vanish, it happened to a PS4 Slim I had on 9.00 and my niece updated it... Thankfully it was 10.50 at the time so it wasn't that high, but still annoyed me I lost a console with the "golden" FW. Ended up selling it.

I´ve actually been considering moving from 9.60 to 11 to play MLB The Show.

I guess I need to look somewhere else than my ussual places.
