What’s their next excuse going to be…..
They have finally obtained the source code of mig thanks to the recent hacks of the mig. They will not bring anything new that the mig can’t do already.

The fun part is their claim of open source, wonder how they will go around the part with the lotus keys that is a requirement to make it work🤣🤣
Open source Nintendo code🙄

Hi guys, I bought a mig switch v2 a while back on sale and dumped all my physical games to put on it in anticipation for this moment.. i picked up a HK model switch 2 on sale. Do you think I can use it on the switch 2 without getting banned? After all, it's my own dumps, no funny business here, right? Have there been any ban reports from "legit" users after the 1.2.2 update dropped?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

I have not seen any reports of mig bans after the 1.2.2 update, but I am still waiting because without CFW, a banned switch 2 is pretty much a brick. Especially when new games will require new firmware.

for updating my own copy of game while using mig switch, do i just update it normally like original cartridge or do i need to download the update using original cartridge first?

For all means for the console the MIG is a original cartridge. the updates are installed on the console not on the cartridge.

Can I:
- Dump a SW1 game from a SW2 version cart (lets take pokemon ZA for instance).
- Put it on a Mig Switch
- Use this file on a SW1?
- Use this file on a SW2?

I understand no SW2 'update' data will be there, that is NOT the question.
I want to dump my SW1 version, for use on a SW1 via mig.

I spent a couple hours digging for this, and while I have seen people report success dumping the game. I saw no one talk about running it ban free on mig.

As far I know MIG Dumper will not read Switch 2 Cartdriges. Am I wrong?

Not using the mig dumper here. Dumping files via a switch.

All I want to do is know if it safe to use the dump I got.
I have (apparently) dumped all the files, they are organized and ready to be used, I just need to confirm if I can use them without risk of a ban given they are from a SW2 version cart.

Can anyone confirm this is safe?

Also, side question, I see mixed reports, is software version 1.2.2 safe to use on the SW2?

Where is a good place to buy a Mig flash cart? Preferably Canada, but USA that ships to Canada would be ok. Everywhere I've looked seems to be shut down, or listings removed
