look for PLZA Recovery Tool..
Reinstalling the base game worked for me... I realized that (at least in my case) it's the game that's corrupted, not the save.

I also deleted the toogles.txt file inside the cheats folder.

So, to speed up the process, I put the installation file [v0] inside a small folder on the SD card for easy access whenever I have this problem.

The "Always Encounter Pokemon" code, by default, will spawn Level 10 Pokemon, because that's what the related line in the code does. You use the smaller modifier codes to tweak that. If you want to set a custom level, convert the level you want to hex and modify the level code with it.

Code:
[Always Level x]
040A0000 00CFC498 528xxxx2

Replace the 4 'x's in the code above with the 0 padded hex value for the level you want. Level 52 should be 0034, for example.
I am not understanding these level codes. I have searched all over this forum before posting and I cannot find anyone else experiencing this. I am using the correct hex values, in this case I want a level 20 Pokemon, so I am using:

040A0000 00CFC498 528xxxx2
Where the xxxx = 0014

However, I am only encountering level 10 Pokemon. I then decided to check other levels, I tested level 30 with 001E and all those Pokemon spawn at level 15...

It would appear that the levels are being halved for some reason. I also notice that these level codes are different from the level modifier in the larger code, not sure why.

[Always Encounter Level 10 Pokemon] has the following as the level modifier code (notice that there is no "2" at the end):
040A0000 02FC7FFC 0000000A

Whereas the [Always Level 10] code is different:
040A0000 00CFC498 528000A2

I'm not using any other codes that modify levels or other wild Pokemon modifiers. So I'm not sure what the problem is.

Is there a code to choose specific gender for wild encountered Pokemon?
[Always Male]
040A0000 00CFC2C8 52800001

[Always Female]
040A0000 00CFC2C8 52800021

[Always Genderless]
040A0000 00CFC2C8 52800041

Nothing so far for gender.
There are gender codes now.

The "Always Encounter Pokemon" that you enable has a built in level in it :
[Always Encounter Pokemon]
040A0000 02FC7FC4 18000161
040A0000 02FC7FC8 34000041
040A0000 02FC7FCC 790067E1
040A0000 02FC7FD0 18000121
040A0000 02FC7FD4 79006BE1
040A0000 02FC7FD8 18000101
040A0000 02FC7FDC 79006FE1
040A0000 02FC7FE0 180000E1
040A0000 02FC7FE4 390103E1
040A0000 02FC7FE8 F9403A60
040A0000 02FC7FEC 1774D09A
040A0000 02FC7FF0 00000000
040A0000 02FC7FF4 00000000
040A0000 02FC7FF8 00000000
040A0000 02FC7FFC 0000000A << Change to the level you want

To me it was enough to just change the above line to the level I wished converted to hexa, don't enable any others just "Always Encounter Pokemon" and the Pokemon you want to encounter (if you want a specific one).

I also thought that the separate lines for the levels needed to be enabled, but no, not sure what they are even for.

I mean, seriously... how is it possible that after all this time, we still don’t have a code to override the alphas? The game’s been practically turned upside down; we’ve got every conceivable kind of code out there except that one. Honestly, it just blows my mind. I’d at least like to understand why.

Even you seems to be new in this forum, you should know making demand while contributing nothing like this would let you go nowhere. If you are that impatient, you can try to learn searching and making codes for yourself. Unless you make paid requests and someone accepted that, nobody has responsibility to make code for your demand for free.

I made several requests for codes much earlier; some of them have been not made yet, but I have not been whining nor complaining.
