Hacking Tinfoil - could not start the software please try again from the home menu

Recently hacked my switch, tried getting tinfoil but when opening installer it says that, a forwarder got made on the home menu but it doesn't work from there either

I have the latest versions of Hekate, atmosphere, sigpatches and the console itself

If anyone knows the answer please tell me I'll appreciate it

run it from applet mode high memory. app needs to be updated for 19

how do i get an app to open it tho? (ik very noob question but im very new)

hold R when launching a game to bring up hbmenu high mem, launch tinfoil from there (or wait for tinfoil to update for fw19)

my fault i didnt mean that

i mean: i dont have any app on my emummc, so how do i get one

My suggestion is use dbi to install a small game. Dbi works best with full ram but it can install games in applet mode

tinfoil already got a patch tho, so it should work, are you sure you got everything up to date?

i dont know i have a v 2 switch so i had someone to do it so im not sure what they put but thxx i will check it rnn
