Vwii gx loader issues

Hi
Got homebrew installed in vwii..however when I load up gx loader v .1272 my wii and gc games show as they did on my modded wii(using exact same usb flash configured for my wii)but when I go to boot wii games it kicked me back to homebrew or black screen...I had this on my wii but I had that connected to WiFi and just ran pimp my wii to update ios then games booted fine but on vwii it doesn't using exact same configuration..didn't want to go online with vwii as I have cbhc mod.

I often go online with Custom Firmware on my vwii (wii u) for a few years and nothing happened. I think Nintendo is not interested in the Wii U anymore...

problem is most likely your flash drive. the wiiu hates them. those symptoms you mentioned are indicative of that.

OK
So I've ordered a y cable to power flash drive...when I boot gx loader it shows all games on vwii but won't boot them up...dya think it is ios related??

What even with cbhc installed?I heard online updates will wipe cbhc.

What is all this I here about wads for vwii?I never had to do that with my wii mod..do I need to worry about backing them up or installing to just play normal wii gc games?

Sorry… Didn‘t know you mean online update, i heard a few people say that when you do firmware updates it will delete cbhc and you need to install it again and a few people say that it will brick the console. I Think the best way for you is to delete cbhc, update the console, and install Tiramisu (new Hacking method for wii u)

I've managed to solve issue...I kept cbhc and just updated the cios now all games boot up fine..appreciate the help.not sure whether to move from cbhc to tiramisu doesn't seem an issue at the moment..tbh I need to actually do some gaming all this modding is a headache lol.

I had many Custom Firmwares installed and went online and played and ive never been banned so I think its safe to play online with cbhc or generally CFW.

there's a barista file, which may be on tiramisu (it's on aroma), that's a mirror image of your home menu. delete it, and restart.

btw, that's on the sd card. I forgot the location though, but it's in the wiiu folder somewhere.

Can u explain what this process is a little clearer please?
Will this erase tiramisu?and is this process the reason games aren't showing?

I do not know if that's the reason games don't show up, but I modified mine to have tetris symbols. if I delete it, a new one is created at reboot, and it undoes the tetris symbols. it won't undo tiramisu. I don't know if tiramisu has it, but aroma does.

Thanks but based on ur explanation I'm not the wiser what to look to delete...only files I can see are mocha rfx file

I used that guide m8...I checked my tiramisu module setup and it was missing sigpatches file...I installed this now games are showing??guessing that must be what was missing...however I started up a game and game update began yet I installed udiine to prevent updating??any idea??

that doesn't affect game updates. also weird that missing sig patches caused games to disappear. the wiiu is not the 3ds.
