I don't know if there's merit to this, but I have a feeling heavy LLM users (especially vibe coders) have a life and use machines with the goal to avoid/reduce using machines in the first place; whereas the machines (Internet) is my life and of many others, so the "ever-knowing academic em-dasher" language, frequent cluelessness of authors and lack of enthusiasm leave a much bigger impression. It sucks.
It does contradict what I know about vibe coders I recognise more personally, but a sizeable chunk of friends and others I know are too unique to even remotely fit into any stereotype.
Just a shower thought, not meaning to antagonise or assume, especially if in hindsight it's obvious I'm wrong.
