    On Sept 26th - the 3DS V4.4.0-10 Patch was released for the R4i 3DS from www.r4ids.cn I have used this firmware with no issues. This firmware uses the "Metroid Prime Hunters - Demo Version" as it's Icon on the Main Menu. I ordered two more carts from the same vendor and got them in today...

    My son got on his 3DSXL this morning and updates to get to the e-shop after I set up his brand new R41-3DS last night - and - of course this morning it locked him out. Bastids! When will the patch be ready?!?!?! ;) Kidding. Oh well - good luck patching this one boys - we love ya! ;) TF

    I have two new R41 3Ds carts from r41ds.cn and I have upgraded it to this Patch as announced on their website:The 3DS V4.3.0-10 Patch for R4i Gold Non-3DS is released now! It says it supports 3DS V4.3.0-10 however Nintendo says the latest update is to 3DS V4.3.0-10u. Does that 'u' matter - or...

    I tend to agree with this - although - if they wisen up - get cheaper - and allow us to save all these games to a SD - I can see why they are trying to do it... they are trying to replace karts.... I don't think it will work - and we can always back up our roms - but still - the SAME priceis...

    My son wants to check out the eshop on his 3DSXL - but it is demanding an update in order to get to the shop. Has anyone done this - and does the latest bootloader work with the 3dsXL after updating? If so, we will not update - but I wanted to check before I did anything. Thanks for helping...

    Hacking Compatible Micro sd cards

    I use Sandisk and have had little issue with them. Kingston's seem to wear out after a short time and have issues - I have replaced three of them in the last couple of years and do not buy them any more. TF
