    Thanks for you replies! I figured out what the issue was. The saving didn't work because I didn't send the patched games directly onto the memory card, and instead to a map on my PC first. Finally I can get on with playing some Kuru Kuru Kururin, Castlevania and Sonic.

    Are these more reliable than the slot-2 solutions for DS/Lite? I lost a lot of save data when the battery gave up in my slot-2 cart. Is the technique somewhat different in this one, since it has a built in SD slot?

    Hacking Lost GBA saves (Acekard 2i + EZ 3 in 1)... A known issue?

    They were of the type .gba.sav. I played the games at several occasion before the data loss. The only logical reason I can see is that the EZ 3 in 1 Flash for some reason was unable to load the save-files and therefore overwrote them with new save-files. Am I the only one who has experienced this?
