    Yeah I don't foresee that being a problem for me so it should be ok. The BIOS thing is clever. I'll be making use of that feature

    Bios flashing without a cpu has been around for years. You can find it on Intel boards as well. It was just a motherboard thing before, some had it, some didn't.

    Zen4 just has a version of it built into the cpu, to recover from bad flashes or update a board with an unsupported cpu. So you either get the motherboard manufacturers version (q-flash plus in this case) or AMD's own implementation.

    I'm so excited for Sonic Superstars. Does it look great? Yes. Do I think it will be better than Mania? No.

    The Mania devs being the talented people they are and being so heavily involved in the "retro" Sonic scene just understood everything that made Mania the success it was. It was a joyful celebration of "classic Sonic" in every single way.

    Superstars looks to be SEGA's own evolution of classic Sonic and although they seem to now understand the fundamentals (leaving Sonic 4 in the dust) I just can't see it being better than Mania.

    I couldn't have said it better myself, Mania fundamentally understands what makes Classic Sonic work in the first place and does virtually everything right, Superstars looks fun but more "New Super Mario Bros" fun than like, the definitive Classic Sonic experience that stands toe to toe with its predecessors

    Needed to fix an issue on my nieces laptop yesterday and had the misfortunate of using Windows 11 for the first time. Holy shit what a mess of an interface. Why is everything so hard to find and the search function is next to useless

    It's like trying to find a setting on iOS. you will never find what you need.

    For me as I has been using windows since 3.x some time ago did learn to do almost everything by command line so on Win 11 I use more the command line than interface but try to find something, I dare you.

    got use to it honestly after that it's not so bad, typing in add automatically pops up add or remove for the most part everything else runs and feels the same as olders os's probably an easy fix but right click to show more options is kind of annoying and dumb did install lively and some app to make the task bar transparent to give it a cooler type of matrix vibe.

    TBF searching and settings are things that have barely changed if at all since Windows 10. It's mostly just the design language.

    Sonic Origins 2.0 update is out and they barely fixed ANYTHING. So many bugs still present. Especially in 3K

    The 1/2 drop dash is still jank af (it's just a 1 frame spin dash disguised). The only proper implementation is in 3&K. But yeah at least they removed the roll lock.

    It really feels like Sony just sent PSVR2 out to die. There's less support and things to be excited about then the fucking Vita right now.
