    I managed to fix the apps by downloading them on my computer and moving them to the SD card. The ones on the HB app store must be corrupted or they transferred incorrectly.

    I believe they are elf files, all the homebrew apps I've gotten are from the homebrew app store. I do already have a plugins folder in the wiiu folder on the root of my sd card. I downloaded the dark theme and that's where it was stored.

    Oops I forgot to update this. From the 3ds hacks guide site, I was given the understanding that the most recent versions weren't exploitable. However, I updated and followed the 2020 guide. Everything appears to be working as intended. Thanks everyone for the info!

    Hi, Not sure you read my post correctly, I have the forwarder channel and I already tried the forwarder.dol, that is what gives the IOS 58 error and any other method gives me 'Waiting for HDD' Not sure if it's bugged for me or I'm missing something...? Thanks
