Better Stereoscopic 3D Patches/Cheat Codes Releases, development and discussion

The codes work now and there's a lot more depth! Rodea could use more pop out, but I've realized that there's several screen depth effects like blur that kind of ruin the 3D effect. The aiming crosshair also doesn't have depth, but I'm guessing that isn't possible to fix.

Better Stereoscopic 3D Patches/Cheat Codes Releases, development and discussion

Ah, I missed that initial post. Thanks for all these new codes! I didn't have much luck with the codes for Rodea unfortunately. Tried with Luma and CTRPF. Only the Depth+++ one seems to work.

Better Stereoscopic 3D Patches/Cheat Codes Releases, development and discussion

Another game that could use some 3D improvement if anyone is interested: Rodea the Sky Soldier. It honestly feels like it's flat. I tried to hunt for the code on my 3DS, but the game was freezing often when trying to hunt.

This sounds promising! Will the details be posted here or in some Luma3DS release/thread?

Better Stereoscopic 3D Patches/Cheat Codes Releases, development and discussion

I had been wanting better 3D in all these games and just found this thread with these great cheat codes. Did you get a chance to update your main post with these updates you mentioned? Some other good candidates besides the already mentioned Luigi's Mansion games are: Monster Hunter...

Gaming Wii gets hot in standby mode

Leaving the Wii in standby mode can fry the GPU and GameCube memory cards... (Both happened to me) Turn off standby/WiiConnect24 before damage is done. See this old post on the GPU issue: https://gbatemp.net/threads/flickering-pixels.163505/ And on GameCube memory cards...

Hardware How does USB LAN work on the Nintendo Switch?

USB adapter is wired through the USB-C in the dock - not wireless. (Same as normal USB connection, just different plug) Unless you have blazing fast internet, you're not likely to see a great difference in speed between wired/wireless. What wired is better for is consistency in most cases...

Hardware Kimishima confirms voice-chat will definitely require a smartphone

I'd like to be able to have a mix of game audio with chat audio. A smartphone app seems counter-intuitive to this as the audio would have to be streamed from the Switch at which point you might as well be using a headset (wired or wireless) on the Switch. Using various voice chat programs on PC...

    Hardware Max HDD size?

I recently attempted to put a 2TB drive in my PS3 SuperSlim, but it's not supported. 1TB should work fine. 1.5TB might work, but it's a gamble based on what I've seen online.

Hacking Post your WiiU cheat codes here!

Sorry, I don't have the PAL version. This code is pretty easy to make. All you need to do is do an unknown search for 8bit value (probably between 10000000 and 11000000) and get hurt, do less than search, rinse and repeat (might throw an equal to search in there after moving around a bit without...

Hacking Post your WiiU cheat codes here!

I'm interested in getting a full health Wolf Link in BotW. To this end, an infinite health code for Twilight Princess HD (USA) is needed. I couldn't find a working code, so I created one that at least works for me. I did not try to pointer search, so I'm not sure if the address will move around...

Hacking Change game region and play on sysnand USB

So, this is extracting a file from a game, modifying it, and replacing it... Could this method be used to install game mods to USB? I'd love to be able to run my copy of Tokyo Mirage Sessions from USB instead of loadiine.

    Hacking Vita Retroarch Nightly Builds!

This didn't seem to work with SNES9XNext: I renamed the retroarch velf version to eboot.bin and replaced the SNES9X.vpk's eboot.bin and I get "FAiled to install the package: 0x80101127"
